Flower Child

This was taken during the filming of the documentary "Groupies." The crew set up camp in my hippie pad. They didn't include a whole lot of footage of me because I wouldn't dish the dirt like some of the others. I was seeing Jimmy Page at the time and wanted to remain 'discreet!'

My first roommate, the talented Miss Andee Cohen was one of the first to use this kind of film, Randee St Nicholas and I posed like this right out in the open on Santa Monica Blvd. Oh why not?

Another dreamy shot from that tawdry doc, "Groupies." WIsh I still had that blue velvet hair bauble!

Oh the glory of spinning around in a 30s cut velvet frock! My first real photog, Allen Daviau took this during a moment of splendid lightheartedness. He later went on to make films with Steve Spielberg, as his cinematographer.

Another contemplative Daviau shot. Look at the sleeves of this dress! I really was a true flower child.

Happy little teen with Twiggy eyes! I'm wearing the Foxey Lady velvet dress, (Jimi spelled it that way!) hadn't worn it in the 'short film' yet, but Allen would soon ask me to show up and dance behind Hendrix.

Digging around the some of my daddy's boxes of 'collectibles.' He got me addicted to treasure hunting by taking me to flea markets and swap meets. I loved our special shopping time together.

The center of attention at a Love-In at Griffith Park. I'm wearing an antique lace tablecloth, transformed into a totally see-through mini! I'm here with Sparkie and Iva, and a fellow named Max, a fellow Vito dancer.

Classic angelic flower child photo by Allen Daviau. We are replicating this dress exactly for my Groupie Couture line! (I still have it, got to get it under glass!)

This shot was taken by the incredible Barry Feinstein for an album cover, but never used because it was deemed "too sexy" by Blue Thumb Records. It would end up being one of my many "I'm With the Band" book covers in the UK. I was very high on the Mary Jane that day.

Another couple of Daviau shots, this one with a top hat and a come-hither grin to go with the Twiggy eyes.

Sparkie and I at that Easter Love-In 1967. A Venice head shop sold a poster of us taken that day. Lots of flowers dancing around in our hair! Sparkie carried that giant stuffed bunny all day long.

That very poster of us that sold in the local head shops in 1967! Half naked hippie girls! Happy Easter!

This is a modelish shot taken in Bev HIlls, can't remember the photog. I tried my hand at modeling, too short, o well. I had bigger catfish to fry. Haha.
