Meet Pamela Des Barres, writer, journalist, rock `n roll historian and Queen of the Supergroupies. She is most famous for her 1987 tell-all I’m With The Band, an intimate portrait of her sexual exploits and longtime escapades with such notorious rockers as Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison and Jimmy Page. “Miss Pamela” as she was christened during her ’60s heyday as a member of all-girl band the GTOs, has spent the last few decades extolling the merits of the rock concubine lifestyle. She has given light to some of the most personal details of rock `n roll’s greatest. In her latest book, Let’s Spend the Night Together: Backstage Secrets of Rock Muses and Supergroupies, Pamela focuses on her successors and some of her contemporaries.
